Some of you may not know but we hold monthly live seminars on our site. This month we are talking about a subject that rarely gets taught because honestly… not many people actually know how to do it. Sure they talk about it. They just don’t have a clue how to teach you to use it.

I am talking about USING an anchor once you have it. So many people get stuck on the idea that you use an anchor like a club and smack someone over the head with it. I have seen so many people say:

“Just anchor X and fire it”

Like just anchoring trust and firing it would actually work…. nope not even close. The reason is simple. To use an anchor you have to give is 2 things. 
1- Direction
2- Context

Without those it is like shooting an arrow into the air and hoping it lands where you want it to land. Most times it doesn’t.
I read a lot of stuff about anchoring. While I like the way we teach it best there are a ton of places to learn ABOUT anchoring. Most of them stink. They all seem to end with this phrase….

Fire the anchor when required

WTF does that mean? I just did a Google search on the phrase “using NLP anchors”. While we don’t teach anchoring the way it is taught in NLP I found if I did not put that in there I got a lot of boat articles.
The first 2 pages of Google searches tell you NOTHING about using anchors. All you get is about how to set them. Like I said… most of those stink.

The result is that the most important half of the anchoring skill is MISSING!

How, when, and where do you USE anchoring? Because of this missing link to anchoring few people who learn it,  actually USE IT
