Ted Cruz

Ted Cruz to formally announce presidential bid

Politicians using anchoring???

OK here is what I want you to notice. He is using a lot of power words in his speech and if you follow closely you can see that each time he uses a power word in clenches his fists for emphasis. He is in effect anchoring all those words to one gesture.

He then uses that same gesture later when he states “there is a time for truth, There is a time for liberty.” Then again, “I believe in the power of…” Just before he announces his run.

The Ted Cruz ties all the power words and all the emotion and funnels it right into his announcement. So the crowd feels all those emotions just before he provide himself at the path to get them.

The again when Cruz said ” it is time to reclaim the promise” …. “For our children and our children”s children”

Then again… ” It is the time for liberty”

So the first half connect a variety of powerful emotions to a gesture and then uses that bucket of emotions to punctuate the power points of his speech.

Accident??? I don’t think so

Most people never see it do they It is not just the words although that is part of it. There is also what you do with those states once you have elected them and connected hem to a gesture so you can just push a button and they all come right back just in time to subconsciously punctuate and mark out what you want people to feel at that exact moment.

More to come as more people practice their announcements

Starts at minute 16

Is anchoring a valuable tool???  Ted Cruz Thinks So You bet it is so sign up today!
