    When I watch “secrets of vocal influence” online the video buffers several times and given the video is short it can take me twice as long to watch a video as it presumably would. Is this a glitch that can be fixed?

    Do you have any vids that show the proper way to do a stutter embedded command or whatever it is called? (a friend told me about this technique, but he didn’t show me how to do it)or if you don’t have that can you explain how to do this type of embedded command in a clear and concise manner.

    1. We are having the Total Life Transformation program at Regent’s College Conference Center in London. As the seminar is not at a hotel, we don’t have a block of rooms reserved. We opted to rent a flat for the week, which seems to be the most cost effective option. This area is easily accessible and there are many small hotels relatively close. For a list of hotel options near Regents College go to http://www.regents.ac.uk/LSFMP/accommodation/private_sector/local_hotels.aspx. The Euston tube station is about a mile and a half from Regent’s College, where there are a Travelodge, an Ibis, a Novotel and the Euston Hilton. As well there are many small hotels near it, such as The County Hotel (http://www.imperialhotels.co.uk/county). There are many sites online where you can rent a flat. A couple which we know of are http://www.ivylettings.com and http://www.londonchoice.com/home.asp. Please do not rent a flat where you are requested to send anyone money or a check, or to transfer money to a bank account. If you would like to try to find roommates for a flat or for a hotel, please contact me and I will try to get you in touch with others who are interested.

      These will be held in the afternoon with the exact time to be announced. There will be exercises to be completed after each of the pre-trainings and a Yahoo Group for discussions and questions.       Getting to the college is quite simple. It is located in Regent’s Park
      and only a 5 minute walk from the Baker Street tube station. The
      Hammersmith & City, the Circle, the Bakerloo, the Metropolitan, and
      the Jubilee tube lines all have stops at Baker street. For driving
      directions to the college, go to

      There you can enter your postal code to get exact directions from
      your home. There is parking at the college, which is on a first

      We don’t allow use of any computers or recording devices during the seminar. Computers tend to be distracting to the other participants and there are no recording devices for obvious reasons. Otherwise all you need to do is bring yourself, a pen and a notepad, and an open mind with a willingness to learn and have fun.

    I am having trouble with talking too fast. Any tips or exercises on how to slow myself down? Also any way to change my profile name?

    1. Talk too fast is an anxiety problem. You feel like if you don’t talk fast that people will start ignoring what you have to say. It is a simple 3D mind problem.

      Yes you can change your profile name. Just go to the membership details page and you can change it there.

    1. We are not doing a 1 dollar offer at this time. When we do you only have limited access to the library. The 20 dollar option is well worth it if you want access to 100 hours of video.

    I have ADHD and have studied a lot of NLP and other self help over the years but have not “done” enough practice with any of the skills.

    Will your system from the total life transformation seminar help me practice the skills even if I can’t make the in person days 10/5-9?

    I need help with the doing and it often is just a belief or feeling that is ingrained that it will take too long or I can’t get the skills even though everyone else can. I practice some skills for two or three days before giving up and studying something new.

    1. Hi Mark,

      That is exactly what the seminar is designed for. That is why it is 3 months long. When I was going to seminar I noticed that some people would do great in the seminar but when they got home….nothing. With no support and no pretraining they were overwhelmed at the seminar and recieved no support afterwards. We have several peple watching online. I suggest having a web cam available so you can interact with the seminar and the other people who are watching online.

      Our goal is to have you USING the skills even before the seminar. Then when the seminar is happening you already have experience and know where you need help. I will also be leading practice sessions for the online attendees.

    1. Hi John,

      I have several people joining from the UK. We will be recording each day and each pretraining video. They will all be uploaded for you to view throughout the seminar training. We will not be leaving them up forever 🙂 They are only to help you during the training. We will also have a website with a forum and video room for you to interact and practice with others who are attending.

      We are working out when we will be in the UK. At this point we are not sure if we will be there before the olympics or after. Definarely not in the middle 🙂

    I came across your website through an NLP persuasion course I am doing. It happens that you are teaching everything I am interested in and I am trying to learn. So i got a couple of questions for you. is it free to subscribe to your website?

  37. I signed up for Gold Member status again, but it keeps telling me that my registration is not complete. I put in my information, then it tells me I may be a robot.

    I spend the next half a day wondering if I was a robot clone of the real me, and wondering what I must do to prove that I am in fact the real me and not a robot. After many painful and invasive procedures I now can state that I am not a robot. The clone issue is still up in the air.

    Generally NLP coaches teach Modelling at NLP Master Practitioner level which requires NLP practitioner as a pre-requisite.I have been through a lot of NLP practitioner stuff but I simply can’t understand stuff like Strategies and Reframing(Although I am good at academics).Its like a romantic novel.Each sentence makes sense to me yet the whole thing doesnt make sense 🙂

    1. Yes NLP modeling is a compete waste of time. Want to learn to do ti right…come to our seminar. It is so easy I could teach a 10 year old to do it.

    i have tried other ways of anchoring which NLP trainers teach but they don’t work for me(imagining a state and making images brighter and then touching the wrist,these skills don’t work for me in reality).

  64. Hi Tom, I’ve been out practicing anchoring and I had some questions. I watched the Devastating videos and I have all the DVD’s. I’ve gotten good at eliciting. I’m just not sure on how to separate different things that I elicit. I’ve been using my hands to anchor and how do I separate different elicits, so I don’t stack them all in one place?

    I’ve been practicing on store clerks like at best buy. when I need to recall the anchor when I go back, do I just make the same hand gesture that I used when I anchored them the first time? And that should make them go back into state?

    I’m wondering whether you could use it not only to remove problems, but also to ‘engineer’ states.
    (Similiar to the Circle of Excellence technique)

Please can I stick with the hotmail one I am currently using (see post below and your reply)… I also wanted to ask about the forgotten password reminder page. When I use this I am referred back to my email account to get a confirmation link. When I click on this it takes me to the log-in page. But if I could recall my password I would not need a reminder.     1. Actually we have had great success with this. Mainly because these problems are because if how people feel about themselves. They live a reactive life and avoid any pain at all. You can’t avoid pain but you can deal with it.

      I just got back into town. The trick is not letting go of anxiety and depression. It is to defuse them. They are symptoms of a problem and not the problem themselves. By the time they show up there is an avalanche of emotions that are out of control. I tried N:LP for 7 years and never got really good results. That is why we came up with the 3D Mind. It is simple and precise.

      You should not have to push. You should be removing things that are out of balance. When you have a balanced mind you can make good choices that to not lead to stress and depression.

    I would like to ask, so I don’t knock myself out trying to watch everything, what would be best for what I want to do.
    I do telesales, and want to learn how to better question a prospect to uncover their situations, need & pain, inclination and motivation to do or not do relevant things. I guess it falls under the heading of elicitation, and i have a perfect testing ground for this type of thing at work.

    1. I would start with the Utterly Devastating Elicitations video. That will teach you how to elicit the states from your prospects. Then move to one of the persuasion videos. With phone sales much of what you need to be able to do is listen for the state changes and then adjust. I k ow thre are a ton of videos up there so start here.   129. just a suggestion on website userability issues that you probably already know, but I just wanted to point out that on the main page, the top hyperlinks that present a drop down list of hyperlinks on roll over are hindered by the second row of hyper links because if you roll over the hyperlink on the top row and try to click on one of the hyperlinks that come up from the drop down list the second row cuts off the roll over command and makes the drop down list dissappear.

        I think that the best strategy is to decide first what your goal is. If you want to persuade people and think you can do it without anything getting in the way then do that. If you discover problems then do the 3D mind. The way the seminars are set up in London is to take the maximum advantage of the time we are there. It is easiest to clean up the insecurities before learning modeling. You model people for several reasons. One is to learn what they do. The other is to find out how to influence them by discovering how they think and feel. The the persuasion stuff gives you the tools.

        That is what I have found to be easiest. Let me know if you have any more questions

  152. Hey Tom. I got telephone, raising my hand in class, reading outloud, not being able to approach the girl, board games which ties into reading outloud. All have been significantly reduced from hypnosis. But the fear remains and I can’t get rid of it. I’m 23 and at a career chosing situation. I have tried almost everything out there. Can The technique be used on the spot of the situation?

    1. My opinion is this. If the fear remains you didn’t change anything. You just learned to overpower it. You never took care of the fear. So the fear is everywhere. The fear is generated by the way you look at the world. The trick is to take care of the real problem. Then you do not need on the spot fixes.

      Yes you can do it quickly when you get good at it. Even on the spot stuff.
