I received this email from Chris who worked with a young girl with Tourette’s Syndrome. This was 6 years ago and the girl is STILL not showing any signs of the problem:

I had a client named Jill who was a yoga teacher she mentioned that she was going to be giving a yoga presentation in front of hundreds of yoga instructors and practitioners and that she was terrified of being in front of so many people risking looking like a fool. I told her I could knock that issue out in one session.

She came to my office and we said hello, joked around with small talk and I then asked her to tell me what is going on. She started sobbing uncontrollably, my astute powers of observation intimated that this ain’t going to be about public speaking!

She started describing how she was molested when she was 5-8 and how she never felt good enough. I asked her if she received counseling for this and she stated she did but it never really helped. I explained that many times in counseling you keep going over the same information in hopes of getting a better perspective of it but in my personal experience it is not that helpful. Many times the individual learns how to keep feeling bad about “it”. Another way to look at it is: if you keep walking in dog shit you will continue to smell like shit! I then explained and this is my personal opinion, that you can’t think you way out of something you felt your way into!

So after the tears and tissues I asked her if she would like to change how she feels about this. She said yes and I knocked it out in about 20 minutes.

We then spent about 10 minutes on the public presentation issue and she left with a huge smile on her face. The yoga presentation went perfect!

Jill mentioned her results to a cousin who contacted me. She said that her 8 year old daughter had Tourettes and a friend in Arizona said that Polarity energy work might help. She asked if I did Polarity work. I said I never heard of it but I think I could help her daughter. I told her I would do one session no charge and if I felt that I could make a difference she would pay me for all the following sessions.

The night before I programmed that I would have excellent rapport with “Amy” using 3D mind on myself. When they came into see me her mother explained that Amy presented with facial tics and guttural sounds from her throat. These symptoms were always present but intensified with stress. My challenge would be to communicate in a way that an 8 year old would be able to grasp my intention. All my work up to this time was with adults. While her mother explained what was going on I could see the facial tics on Amy, it looked like she had small mice running under her skin with no rhyme or reason. I could also hear her making odd noises in her throat.

I started by introducing myself to Amy and just building rapport by asking about home, school, what she liked and then what made her feel nervous. I went deeper by asking where she felt when she was nervous. Did it tickle, was it hot, warm, did it move etc. As we were talking I started to feel what she was feeling, where she was feeling it and she was able to pick up on the connection as well. After 15 minutes the facial tics were diminished by half and I thought I should have charged them up front! LOL!!

I spent the next 45 minutes deconstructing anxious states, and building calm, warm, happy states. There was a lot of pink and blues in her new Super Amy state, and as I brought the new state closer to her she would get a big smile. I next anchored this state to her pillow and bed at home and stated that every time she went to bed at night she would recharge her Super Amy state. I also anchored this state to her desk in school.

At the end of the hour Amy’s facial tics were down to about 5 a minute. This took place on a Friday evening, I told her mom to come back next Friday and we will make any necessary adjustments. Amy’s mother called me Sunday afternoon and said that the facial tics were gone! She was very excited and asked me how did I do it. She was in the room the whole time but did not understand how me talking and playing a game with Amy could have such an effect.

The next Friday Amy returned with her mother, the facial tics were still gone not even one twitch during our session. This session I worked on the throat noises, I simply repeated the steps that I used in the first session and focused on the feelings connected with the throat. After an hour I could determine no difference at all. We made an appointment for the following Friday and they left. Sunday afternoon Amy’s mother called and said that the throat noises were gone!

We skipped the next few weeks and then Amy’s mother requested that I do session at their house. I went over and simply anchored her new Super Amy state to various areas of the house including the stairwell that led up to her bedroom.

About two years later Amy’s mother called to say hello, she said everything was going fine and that there was a two week period when it seemed like the Tourettes was coming back and she just told Amy to remember what Chris said. After that it went away for good. It’s now been almost six years since I’ve seen Amy, I talked to her mother about four months ago and she said that Amy has not shown any evidence of Tourettes.

  1. Hi Tom,
I forgot to mention a couple things. The first being that I had “Amy” step into a neutral state and notice the difference between the “old Amy” & “Super Amy” and then step into the “Super Amy” state calibrate it and breathe it in. This I also learned at your seminar but some readers may wonder.

The other thing was when I spoke to “Amy’s” mother the Sunday after the first session she said that on the way home “Amy” told her that she dreamed about me before the first session and that I looked and sounded just like I did in the dream!
